Once again it was a busy weekend for our girls.

The under  9 s played a blitz  in Allenwood  on Saturday morning as you can imagine great fun was had by all and the girls really enjoyed playing their matches .

The under 11's played in Moorefield again  very enjoyable football was played with the girls displaying some excellent football skills .

The under 13's played at home to  Celbridge. This was a very entertaining game of football . Watched by a great crowd. Robert Emmetts were always on top with Celbridge putting on a fine display too. The final score was  Robert Emmetts  1 g  and  13 p s to Celbridge  7 p s. Leah Mc Cormack had a great game scoring  1 g and  3 p ,with Eve Brennan  and Nicole Gorey  also having a fine game scoring 4 points each. Isobel Ryan scored 1 p with Shauna Eaton getting on the score sheet too with a fine point despite playing in defense .

Our under 15 's  played at home on Monday night . With the rain falling constantly  the girls gave it their all. Milltown opened the scoring with the first point . But the rest of the first half saw excellent defending by our backs and keeper . Up front our girls played well as a team and put up a fine score of  2 g s and  4 ps . The first goal was the result of a good ball in by Niamh Mulligan  which landed over the keepers head and into the back of the net . Aine Conway scored  2  points  with Kayleigh Conroy added a goal and a point  Claire Cahill finished off the half with a fine point.

The second half saw  the conditions worsen and the light fading fast. Milltown didn't give up and score 3 points  in the first 15 minutes .
Then a good move by Emmetts  saw a goal  scored by Vicky Dolly. This was the last score of the game to see Robert Emmetts  finish on 3 g 's
and 4 p 's  to Milltown s 4 p s.

The senior girls played their semi final in Suncroft on Saturday evening.  Robert Emmetts never really got into this game on the score board .
The final score did nor reflect the compettive  nature of this game. On the day Suncroft were the better team scoring  a total  of  3 g and
15 points.

Well Done to all teams
